Thanks! The way the multiplier works in this game is that any $ you get is multiplied by your multiplier *at that time* (not at the end). So if I have 5x multiplier and flip a $$ card I'll get $10, but flipping another multiplier after that doesn't affect the money I already have. Does that make sense?
Yeah this game has many layers of random rewards (both flipping the cards and rerolling the shop), and that's one of the most addicting things you can have in a game. I think about whether it's worth it / ethical a lot. I hope that the depth and interest one can get from the game matches or exceeds the amount that one feels compelled to continue playing. If you feel like you're playing just because you're compelled to and not because you're enjoying it anymore, please go do something else!
Absolutely loved this game, dev! easily one of the coolest hidden gems ive seen on itch in awhile. I spent a few hours playing after i finished recording and only stopped because I had work in a few hours XD
Genuinely fun and exciting to experience and i highly recommend to anyone who likes deck builders.. you took the idea and made a truly unique experience that ive already told TOO many friends about!

how does early bird work? i thought pairing it with blank master would start you off with a good amount of mult but it just does nothing. what do you need to do to proc early bird?
You're right to think that those perks go together! The way it works is that perks that happen at the same time, for instance at the start of the round, go left to right. Currently there's no way to rearrange perks, so it's just the order in which you bought them. In the next patch, I'm working on a way for you to rearrange the perks once you've bought them to make things like this easier to set up!

Money Into Multiplier is a crazy card. My money overflowed at least three times before finally settling on this number. I tried to go another round but every single interaction caused a lot of lag.
Totally agree, in fact I pushed a build yesterday that nerfs it a lot (and it's still good!) it seems like you're on the downloaded version so if it again you'll see the new stuff. I know it's kind of a pain downloading random files but if you get the itch desktop app it makes updates a lot easier
life is a remix, and you can make something "original" by using known quantities. also, just don't play something if you don't want to as "you control the buttons you press".
Oh wow got the escape ending quite fast todday, had a good combo of perks (whenever an eye opens, upgrade all ajacent cards, upgrade money cards in corners when flipped, and flip a money card whenever a column is finished, you gain big money with that real fast) I only had 7 "minutes" on the clock left, so i was just in time haha!
TLDR; I played this game for about 2 hours (when it only takes a few mins to finish) to get the "Escape Ending", just because... If you read that then just play the game already.
Hey you, I'm Ty and I review games sometimes here on itch. Ok now when it came to this game the reason, I even clicked on it in the first place was because of the thumbnail. The puppet gave me "Hello Puppet" vibes. The game store page isn't too bad either, more straight forward then some of the other top tier games but not exactly a bad thing.
Now when I started the game I was greeted with disappointment by the gameplay. I cut out alot of me braining my way through what I thought the card game was trying to clue me in on to solve it. At first, I thought it was something like minesweeper giving you clues with the "??" when you hover over cards. Maybe some of the descriptions hint at where to click and where not to click. Honestly, it's just to click a random card. So, stupid and pointless random game that uses cards, smh...
Is what I thought at first but a couple of times through the shop I started to notice that the strats come in when you really play into perk card effects. Basically, the main game depends on the shop to feel like a game.
It's one of the simplest concepts I can think of to use as gameplay, to just click something random but again, I played this for like 2 hours so you can tell me after you play it if it's that straight forward.
The graphics are nice and clean. I like the shop music but it's copyright so be careful of your YouTube vids.
You can easily get crazy amounts of money in this game after you realize how to play to win.
BUG!! DEV FIX PLS When you exit the game it doesn't actually close and you have to close it from the task manager. I show this at the end of the video

Had one of the most unlucky starts to the game.
I proceeded to hit 3 enemies out of 4 cards on the second round as well...
My advice is to not flip over the bad cards. Hope this helps!
