First Patch - Perk Descriptions and Animation Quality of Life Improvements


Hello Players! Thank you for all the feedback so far. We started with the things that we felt were a combination of "definitely good to improve" and "could be done quickly."

  • Perk Descriptions - Perk descriptions are now written in full sensible sentences. I had a very programmer-y idea that somehow [EFFECT TRIGGER] -> [EFFECT] would make sense and condense text, but after seeing people engage with the game we realized that it is confusing. We want the game to be mysterious and have things you figure out for yourself, but we want the baseline perk descriptions to be mostly straightforward and easy to understand. 
  • Animation Quality of Life Improvements - Card flip animations now happen a bit faster, and the game does not accept input while they are animating. This fixes an issue where you could accidentally kill yourself by multiclicking on an enemy card, since the game interpreted that as "oh you wanted to flip this over 5 times and die instantly? sure!"
